An extreme focus on enhance collaboration across the project organisation and on reducing the level of uncertainty through effective risk management
The big why
The project was initiated by Corporate Procurement as part of an overall program to minimize raw materials dependencies and hence the overall risk of production related to raw materials.
The main aim of the Coloplast pilot project was to eliminate the need for re-planning and repeated production testing. The goal was to reduce the uncertainties regarding risks, delivery time and use of resources in this project compared to similar projects from the Supply Value Stream department.
The two key challenges that the Half Double methodology was to help the project overcome were:
Multi-site using a combination of project room and virtual engagement of remote stakeholders
High core team allocation in conjunction with less allocated key stakeholders
Maintain high participation in key events by stakeholders with low allocationLeadership
