The research track will evaluate and document the experience gained from working with Project Half Double

Aarhus University (AU) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) are working together on the main academic deliverables of Project Half Double's research track, which will have great importance for the project’s legitimacy and wider dissemination and adoption of the methodology. Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is contributing through the CASPRO network with reviews of conference papers about Project Half Double before publication.

The research track works closely together with consultants and pilot companies. The co-operation between consultants, practitioners and researchers has been more actively, closely and confidentially organised than previously. Focusing on collaboration, continuous knowledge sharing and interaction between the three parties ensures that new radical project methods are accepted, and it is more likely that they will contribute to greater impact.

Aarhus University and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) have been chosen as the primary partners, because both educational institutions already play a significant role in the further development of the project management discipline; Aarhus University contributes their innovation network for rethinking the project management discipline, and DTU contributes their strong integration of the project management discipline in the selection of courses.
The research track contributes many important deliverables, including:

Addendum to the Phase 1 report, January 2017

We published the report “Preliminary results for phase 1” in June 2016 (Svejvig, Ehlers et al. 2016). It is time to follow up on the Phase 1 pilot projects and to document their development. The purpose of this addendum is thus to document the development in the pilot projects from June 2016 to January 2017 with a particular focus on the impact they have created. This Addendum is a supplement and should be read in conjunction with the Phase 1 report, which will give the reader relevant further information. The target group for this report is practitioners in Danish industry and society in general.
